About the Role
BetMGM is seeking a Marketing Manager with a passion for engaging audiences through digital platforms. The ideal candidate will bring deep knowledge of the sports, media, gaming and entertainment landscape to help develop and implement programs that drive the success of all BetMGM products. The role will cultivate and maintain strong, productive relationships with BetMGM teams in Canada and the US, marketing leadership, external partners and vendors, thereby operationalizing key initiatives within the province.
Responsibilities
Research and evaluate new internal and external opportunities related to iGaming (sports betting and iCasino), providing strategic recommendations to department leadership
Plan, organize, and execute campaigns and/or partner initiatives with timeliness and accuracy
Leverage data and business insights to track and inform retention and acquisition strategies
Successfully manage cross-functional teams without direct authority in order to complete large scale, long-term projects, interacting with BetMGM and partners/vendors on complex implementations
Develop coherent, compelling communication documents to sell through concepts and campaigns to internal and external stakeholders
Review and comprehend partner agreements/contracts in order to support deliverables
Collaborate with legal and compliance teams when building concepts and campaigns
Support the development, fulfillment and measurement of partnerships impacting the Canadian business
Own and manage a marketing channel and creative calendar
Maintain a strong understanding of regulatory and compliance guidelines in relation to marketing in licensed Canadian territories
Essential Functions
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
Comfortable learning to manipulate data and reports on various internal platforms including Power BI
Must be able to stand or sit and operate computers and other technological devices for extended periods of time
Qualifications
5+ years experience across one or more of the following fields: gaming, interactive gaming, marketing, advertising, partnerships or brand management
Demonstrated ability to leverage data and insights to inform activity
Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related qualification preferred
Experience working with and leading cross-functional teams an asset
Experience working within a large casino resort or major entertainment properties an asset

As an online gaming company, BetMGM is required to comply with state gaming regulations which includes licensing obligations. Applicable employees must be licensed by at least one jurisdictional agency, although certain positions require licensing by multiple agencies.
