About the Role
Barstool Sports is seeking a Producer for our growing Branded Content team out of our New York office. The ideal candidate will be hands-on at every step of the production process for multiple concurrent projects, all of which will be at different stages of production. They will be responsible for concepts through pre-production, production, and into post-production and delivery of the production process - pre-planning, filming on-location and in-studio, and editing. They will have experience managing production logistics (budgets, contracting crew and talent, etc.) independently. They will be knowledgeable about Barstool Sports and our programming and have experience producing and editing unscripted content for digital platforms. They will also possess the ability to craft a compelling narrative that aligns with our brand ethos. Organizational and collaborative skills, as well as an ability to prioritize, are a must.
What You’ll Do
- Planning & logistics for small-to-large scale productions, including, but not limited to travel shoots, reality shows, and various in-office and local branded productions
- Lead shoots independently and is able to manage small-to-large scale production teams on the road and on set.
- Assist other members of the Branded Content team in-office and on set
- Manage and track timelines and budgets for Branded Content projects from inception to delivery
What You Have
- 4+ years of production experience
- Experience managing crews
- Must be able to work full-time in NYC office / willingness to travel on a consistent basis (~60% of role is traveling)
- Experience editing montages/sizzles, marketing content, comedy, unscripted web content, and/or documentary work is a plus
- Ability to work in high pressure, fast-paced production environment with quick turnarounds
- Maintain a consistent and organized workflow to ensure proper deadline delivery
Salary Range: $120,000 - 125,000k
